The president of CNR, Maria Chiara Carrozza, paid a visit to Naples office of the Institute of Bioscience and BioResources (IBBR) on 27th June 2022. The event was attended by the Head of the Operational Unit Gianna Palmieri, the coordinator of the Italian JRU Beatrice Cobucci Ponzano, and the director of the Institute Giuseppe Giovanni Vendramin.

Gianna Palmieri gave a brief but comprehensive overview of the numerous projects in which the Institute is involved and illustrated the various expertises and areas of research. 

The word was then passed to Beatrice Cobucci Ponzano, who illustrated the role that IBBR carries out in the European Research Infrastructure IBISBA with a mention to the Italian node IBISBA-IT, which has been recently awarded € 5 million with the PNRR ITINERIS project.
